In a stand-up magic performance, the magician performs while standing in front of the entire audience. This style of magic is often performed from a stage or platform before an audience ranging from 30 or 40 people in a small hall to a few hundred people in a large auditorium. Stand-up magic can also be appropriate for more intimate settings, such as parlor shows for small parties.

Large-Stage Magic - For audienced of over 200 in venues featuring a full-size stage, such as concert halls and auditoriums, we recommend Blackjack Magic's mental magic shows, such as "Extra Sensory Deceptions" and the comedy mentalism of Mentos the Breathtaker. These shows do not rely on large props or complex illusions but instead focus on interaction with the audience. Although most of the magic is performed onstage, some effects involve the magician leaving the stage and mingling with the audience.
Small-Stage Magic - For audiences of approx. 75-200 in venues featuring a small small stage, such as community halls or schools, Blackjack Magic can provide small-scale illusion shows, with some material set to music, as well as the programs of mental magic described above.
Platform Magic - Blackjack Magic's small-stage alternatives also work well for venues in which the performer is working from a raised platform (often less that a foot above ground) as opposed to an elevated stage.
Cabaret Magic - The closeness of the audience in a cabaret atmosphere in which the magician might be almost totally surrounded by the audience allows for the inclusion of close-up and parlor material, as well as smaller scale illusions and mental magic.
